Gift Guide: 1 Year Old Girls

Gift Guides· Shopping

Eleanor is quickly coming up on her first birthday in December. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. She is such a loving, happy, and smart little girl. Not only do we have to prepare for her birthday presents, Christmas is then right around the corner.

I think one years old is the perfect age to get some sentimental gifts – think monograms, memory boxes, and presents that will grow with them their entire childhood.

Everything on this list is very girly, I’m aware. You’ll either love it or hate it. And normally, I’m not all for the pink and glitter either. But because we had a son first, and we still have all his toys, the only things we didn’t buy was the girly stuff. But I had a lot of fun coming up with these ideas. It makes me even more excited for all the tea parties, doll houses, and dress up that’s in our future.

Hopefully you enjoy and get some ideas for your little lady!

1. UGG slippers: Absolutely adorable sherpa slippers. These stay on great and have grippy bottoms for early walkers. A necessity for the winter.

2. Sherpa Bunny Rocker: You really can’t get much cuter than this. Perfect for a little girls room and makes a long term gift. Since it’s from PBK, you can monogram it.

3. My First Purse plush toy: I love the idea of a baby carrying around a purse. Something about that is so cute and silly. Comes with all your essentials, like a cell phone, keys and credit card.

4. Anywhere chair: This is my number one suggestion for all one year olds. Your baby girl will continue to use this for the next five or more years. You can of course monogram this, too.

5. Little Tikes swing: Another necessity for all babies and toddlers. We’ll have two of these set up after Christmas.

6. Baby Stella Doll: Leo has the ‘Baby Fella’ boy doll, so this was an obvious addition. I love that these are soft and cuddly for younger toddlers.

7. Mushie bib: The best bibs for messy eaters. They hold up great in the dishwasher and have the cutest patterns.

8. Laugh and Learn mirror: Eleanor has always loved mirrors. I think this will be a huge hit this Christmas.

9: Cuddle and Kind doll: Hands down the cutest stuffed animals you can buy for littles. They’re heirloom-quality and provide for a fantastic cause.

10. Silicone stacking toy: We’ve gone through a few stacking toys, but not one that’s silicone yet. Honestly, my biggest hope is that the dogs wont chew this set up.

11. Princess castle piggy bank: One year old is the perfect age to start a piggy bank. I think this one is absolutely adorable for a little girl.

12. Ride on Fiat 500: Self explanatory, this thing is just adorable. Looks like a little Barbie car.
