Fall is here, the weather is getting crisp and I am here for it! I seriously thrive in sweater/hoodie weather. Everything about it is better.
The only thing that makes me sad is that we won’t be hosting Thanksgiving this year. Thanksgiving is really the only opportunity I have to set a fancy table. We’re too casual on the daily to use our dining room. But I’m not gonna let the opportunity pass. At least not entirely. I still had so much fun coming up with my ‘imaginary’ tablescape for this year’s Thanksgiving.
I’m typically a very traditional orange and brown kind of girl when it comes to fall decor and Thanksgiving. But once I saw these chambray stoneware serving dishes from PB, I knew I had to design an entire table around them. They’re absolutely classic and gorgeous. And I’m 100% ordering them.
I can’t help but be obsessed with the light blue color altogether. It’s so airy and calming – I really am on the path to painting our whole house this color.
And the obvious odes to coastal decor are perfect without being kitschy. Like the rattan and scallop-like details on the serving dishes. They tie in so nicely with the neutrals of the rest of the golds and whites.
Enjoy checking out the pieces I found, and have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
