It’s back to school season and I can’t believe my baby is off to preschool again. It’s crazy how quickly this all happens, but I’m also so excited for him to get back into a routine and all the new experiences coming our way.
Because Leo was in a state-provided speech therapy program, he was required to attend public school in able to continue his lessons after his third birthday. He’s in a bit of a unique case where he’ll have 2.5 years of preschool before being old enough to start kindergarten. He’ll be a seasoned pro by the time he’s five.
If you have a little one who is starting (or returning to) preschool like me, you should check out some of these books. Books really helped us introduce the idea of preschool and what our son could expect in the classroom with his new friends.
Preschool is a huge change and can make kids anxious – especially if this is the first time they’re away from their home and parents.
Make the transition to preschool easier with these fun books that talk about new routines, saying goodbye at drop-off, and even how to share with friends. There’s even some reassuring words for the parents, too, which I definitely needed.
