If you were to ask me where I want to shop for home décor, Dillard’s wouldn’t normally be my answer. But to my surprise, they released a gorgeous collection by Southern Living x Nellie Howard Ossi. If I could only describe it one way it would be: classic indoor-outdoor entertaining essentials with a classy, Florida-inspired color scheme.
The line was just dropped earlier this week, so there’s still plenty of time to grab your favorite pieces. Just in time to prepare for the warmer weather!
Most of the line is for dining or entertaining, but there’s also some throw pillows and beach towels that stick to the same vibes. After looking through everything, there are three pieces I really want to point out.
- My top pick is the reversible table runner. If you consider buying any pieces from this collection, it should be this. It can work with for many different looks or occasions.
- There are also a few show-stopper dinnerware pieces that have a lace-like detail along the rim. Dinner plates, salad plates, and a cake stand. These would be gorgeous on an Easter tablescape.
- Lastly, there’s a quilted picnic blanket that’s also reversible. It has a gorgeous pattern and it also comes with a leather carrying handle.
This collection really highlights two of the main design trends I think we’ll be seeing more of this spring and summer: fun colors and maximalist patterns.
